Editorial disclosure: This guide is informational and intended to help readers organize questions before a high-value purchase or booking. It is not a quote, booking offer, appraisal, legal advice, or financial recommendation.
This expanded BMC Select guide provides a practical research framework for exotic car rental checklist. Verify current prices, availability, policies, specifications, and contractual terms before committing funds.
1. Verify the business and vehicle
Confirm provider identity, exact vehicle, condition, and who owns or controls the car.
Confirm exact model or vehicle class, total price, mileage allowance, deposit, age requirements, driver's-license requirements, insurance expectations, cancellation terms, geographic limits, and delivery fees.
2. Read the contract before payment
Understand deposits, cancellations, mileage, prohibited uses, geographic limits, and late-return terms.
Photograph or video all exterior panels, wheels, tires, windshield, interior, mileage, fuel level, and warning lights. Make sure existing damage is recorded in writing.
3. Confirm insurance expectations
Know whether your policy applies, whether supplemental coverage is offered, and what exclusions exist.
Rental agreements can restrict racetracks, launches, burnouts, smoking, pets, unpaved roads, certain jurisdictions, valet parking, additional drivers, or overnight parking locations.
4. Document delivery condition
Photograph exterior, wheels, glass, interior, fuel, and odometer before driving away.
Follow fuel requirements, parking instructions, mileage rules, and any operating guidance for lift systems, convertible roofs, launch modes, charging, or special controls.
5. Plan the return
Know location, fuel requirement, cleaning expectations, inspection process, and deposit-release timing.
Document condition, mileage and fuel again. Obtain written confirmation of return when possible and retain the agreement until the deposit or authorization is released.
