1. Rental approval and availability
Submitting a request does not guarantee a reservation. BMC confirms availability, package contents, rental period, delivery method, pricing, identity requirements, and applicable authorization hold before the rental is approved.
2. Rental pricing
Final pricing is provided before payment and may include the equipment rental, selected accessories or bundle components, insured shipping where offered, taxes, and other disclosed charges. No insurance product is represented as included unless actual coverage is specifically provided and described.
3. Shipping and delivery
Where shipping is offered, the quote may incorporate insured outbound and return shipping. Signature-required delivery, approved packaging, supplied return labels, and carrier deadlines may be required. The renter is responsible for following the approved return process.
4. Authorization hold / deposit
A temporary card authorization or refundable deposit may be required based on equipment value and rental risk. The amount is disclosed before payment. The hold may remain until all equipment is returned, inventoried, and inspected for completeness and working condition.
5. Return condition and inspection
Equipment must be returned complete and in substantially the same working condition, ordinary wear excepted. BMC may use a reasonable inspection period after return to verify operation, accessories, serial-numbered items, physical condition, and package completeness before releasing an authorization hold.
6. Loss, theft, damage, and missing items
The final rental agreement will define responsibility for loss, theft, misuse, prohibited use, missing components, unreturned equipment, damage beyond ordinary wear, deductibles or protection limits if any, and costs exceeding any expressly provided protection.
7. Late returns
Late returns can interfere with subsequent rentals. Additional rental charges may apply until equipment is received by the agreed return method. Carrier scans and approved shipment timing may be used to determine whether a shipped return was timely.
8. Identity and eligibility
BMC may require government-issued identification, a valid payment method, verified contact information, and additional verification before releasing high-value equipment. Rentals may be declined where verification is incomplete or risk cannot be reasonably managed.
9. Prohibited use
Equipment may not be subrented, pledged, materially modified, used unlawfully, intentionally exposed to unreasonable hazards, or transferred to unauthorized parties. Package-specific operating and environmental restrictions may also apply.
10. Taxes and final agreement
Applicable taxes and legally required charges will be disclosed in the final transaction. The signed rental agreement and final invoice govern the specific rental if they differ from general website information.
